This is a how to guide for installing this speaker in a ceiling. In my case, I installed it in a bathroom ceiling with audio streaming from an Airport Express. Even though this is just a mono speaker, I found it quite good for this purpose with excellent clarity. In fact, after comparing this, relatively expensive, speaker to the cheaper stereo speaker in my other bathroom, I have to say I now prefer high quality mono to low separation stereo from a cheaper speaker (in my case a Jamo). Sometimes you do get what you pay for.
The brackets made it quite easy to hold this speaker into my dry wall ceiling. I would recommend using a cordless screwdriver, just avoid over tightening the brackets. They are, after all, only plastic.
Sound is good, with of course little power on the low end, but excellent for what I use it for: music and podcasts, as well as its typical use as a rear surround speaker in a 7.1 home theater sound system.
I did make some use of the directional tweeter, although it is somewhat hard to find, just push on the plastic ring around the center cone and you can point the speaker over a narrow range of angles. I choose to point it at where I thought the listener would be.
