(More customer reviews)This LaCie drive for use with the Mac Mini is a perfect match. The excellent (white) cables of different lengths work very well for various installations. The Mac Mini sits on top of this drve and is designed to allow a clearance between the two for ventilation. I'm glad they are thinking of ventilation because the LaCie unit does run fairly warm. There is a compromise between fan noise and how much cooling you expect to get. This unit is very quiet running and although warm, does not appear to overheat. The hard drive is fast and functions flawlessly although I am not using LaCie's backup software which was included. The additional hub inputs for USB and Firewire are convenient. I would buy this unit again.
