It fits under the seat in front of you, in the overhead compartment above you..and I'm talking about those itty bitty sardine can-propeller-driven-i-think-i'm-gonna-die commuter jets/planes. You know...where you have to walk out onto the tarmac to board with Joe Gorilla standing there waiting to throw your "$$,$$$ +/- carry on" back with the oversized bags, Rottweilers, and whatever else capable of making schrapnel out of your gear.
Your gear will fit. Typically I travel with [at least] two professional bodies, a 70-200, a 24-70 (77mm lens diameters),two flashes, batteries, cards, another "tourist camera" (EOS Rebel)with lenses and more. I also travel with my 15" laptop, all of the chargers for the aforementioned equipment. It all fits. The partitions are re-configurable in case you need to pack something other than camera gear...like a doll from Dubai. TSA loved that one. I digress.
I did my homework. I've researched every bag out there, this one absolutely rocks. AND with 40 pounds of gear on my back, it is balanced and reasonably comfortable. The added features of a monopod-pocket, rain cover, a lock and a seamingly great warranty make this bag perfect...at least for me.

I've been an Amazon customer since Amazon's inception. This is the first review I've written because I feel that strongly about this bag and hope to help someone else make a confident decision.
